A group of high school students unwittingly stumble upon a cursed object, an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. They discover that the terrible sound it makes when they blow it will cause their future deaths to haunt them. As the death toll rises, they begin to investigate the origins of this cursed artifact, desperate to stop the terrible chain of events they have started.
