ABOUT
Pastoral Amerika
Philip Roth'un Pulitzer ödüllü romanından uyarlanan Pastoral Amerika, ünlü oyuncu Ewan McGregor'un ilk uzun metraj yönetmenlik deneyimi.
Dünya prömiyerini Toronto Film Festivali'nde Eylül ayında yapan Pastoral Amerika, 1960'ların toplumsal ve siyasal çalkantılarıyla dağılan "mükemmel" bir Amerikan ailesini odağına alıyor. Film, başarı merdivenini tırmanıp saygınlık kazanan Seymour Levov ve gözbebeği ailesini yıllar boyu takip ederken Vietnam'dan 1968 olaylarına ve Watergate'e ABD tarihine de tanıklık ediyor.
