Rüzgarın Hatıraları film details

Shot in Istanbul, Artvin and Batumi, the film tells the story of Aram, a translator and painter, who escapes from Istanbul during the Second World War to save his life for political reasons.

Trapped in a forest village on the Soviet-Georgian border in the Black Sea, Aram's escape turns into a search for traces of a lost time from his childhood. Within the political and cultural atmosphere of the period, the themes of love, time, death, exile, homeland, borders, freedom and confrontation emerge in Memories of the Wind as gateways to the irreversible dark corridors of memory.
