The Seventh Continent

Georg and Anna, a couple who seem perfectly normal and quiet, but deep down inside they are having big explosions, are unable to enjoy any significant pleasure in their lives and live their lives in a completely indifferent way. The most affected individual is their child Evi. Evi begins to pretend to be blind as a punishment for her parents' indifference. Seeing this situation, Georg and Anna realize the meaninglessness of their lives. They decide to end their monotonous life and shut themselves in their home. What they will do in this process is to destroy all their memories and try to find a new life.

Directed by Michael Haneke, one of cinema's genius directors, the film dramatically portrays many of the problems that the director continues to address in his other films.
