    Oyun Türkiye´de bilinen ilk faili meçhul cinayet olan Sabahattin Ali cinayetinden önceki 24 saati konu alıyor.

    Sabahattin Ali’nin yoğun tehditler aldığı ve yaşam alanının gittikçe daraldığı 1948 Türkiye’sinde, tek çare çok sevdiği vatanını bırakıp gitmektir. Bu gidiş onun için bir kaçış değil mücadelesi için yeni bir zemin arayışıdır. İstanbul’dan yola çıkan bir sebze kamyonuyla Edirne´den sınırı geçerek yurt dışına gitmeyi planlar. Yalnız bu plandan istihbarat da haberdardır. Bir kamyon şoförü olan Ali Ertekin ile Sabahattin Ali arasında geçen bu ölüm yolculuğu kurmaca olarak anlatılmaktadır.

    Yazar, Sabahattin Ali'nin son iki gününü anlatırken dönemi, insan ilişkilerini, sınıf bilinci ve ideolojik çatışmaları da sorgulamıştır. Dengin Ceyhan’ın besteleri ve canlı müzik performansıyla usta oyuncu kadrosuna eşlik ettiği bu yolculuğa tüm edebiyat ve tiyatro severleri bekliyoruz.
