Troy is as old as the stories in the Bible...

Founded thousands of years ago in the Hisarlık Region of Çanakkale, the historic city of Ilion, or "Wilusa" as the Hittites called it, was the source of a very old legend. One of the oldest and most well-known stories in human history, where dream and reality, science and utopia are intertwined...

Western civilization owes its cultural heritage to the Trojan legend more than anything else. This story, which is supposed to have taken place in 1180 BC, was engraved in the memory of humanity by a bard from Anatolia. Written down by the Izmir-born bard Homer in his immortal works Iliad and Odyssey, this story has become one of the most recognized works of world literature. So much so that it has a place as important and influential as all the holy books and has turned into a mysterious adventure that the history writers of all nations have been most curious about throughout history.

It was the German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann who put the final point to these curiosities, researches and excursions involving a history of three thousand years; who brought Troy back to the stage of history and turned the legend into a real history. The treasures of mankind, which were found by groping with the mysterious voices of rumors and taken abroad with great adventures, turned into one of the foundations of modern archaeology. Schliemann taught us this: "The voices rising from the ruins are the voices of our past." Those who do not hear the sounds of the past cannot hear the sounds of the future. The Fire of Anatolia Dance Troupe brings the legend of Troy to life. We say hello to this immortal work of art history three thousand years after its homeland. The illuminated city that adorned the dreams of world leaders from the Hittite King Tuthalia to Achileus, from Alexander the Great to the Roman Emperor Caesar, from the Persian King Xerxes to the Byzantine King Constantine, from Mehmet the Conqueror to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk... The cry rising from the ruins of Troy and the revival of a 3000-year-old mystical dream...
