8th SOLO Contemporary Dance Festival
Hosted by CerModern, the 8th edition of the International SOLO Contemporary Dance Festival will bring together everyone interested in exploring individual expressions within contemporary and conceptual dance on August 30–31 in Ankara.
Featuring 20 dance artists from 13 different countries, the festival offers audiences a rich and inspiring two-day program, including national and international solo performances, workshops and artist talks. Taking place on CerModern’s open-air stage, the festival approaches dance not only as a performance, but as a space for thought, dialogue and discovery.
This year, SOLO once again presents a program that places the body at the heart of storytelling, highlighting the power and authenticity of solo performances. The festival is curated with the guidance of an advisory team comprising Deniz Alp, Özgür Adam and Galip Emre, all recognized for their pioneering work in contemporary dance.
Through the SOLO Contemporary Dance Festival, CerModern aims to foster connections across all artistic disciplines, offering audiences fresh perspectives and celebrating the transformative power of individual movement and the present moment.
