The plot of the theatre play Dethtrap:
The life of writer Sidney Bruhl, who has left behind his former glory days, full of despair, changes with a new draft of a play sent by his student Clifford Anderson. Sidney realises that the manuscript is a great opportunity for him. But when even his near-perfect, rational plans do not go as he expects, events become complicated and tension slowly builds. His wife Myra Bruhl, psychic Helga Ten Dorp and lawyer Porter Milgrim also get involved in this game. With betrayals, jealousies and surprises, everyone's plans clash with each other and the struggle between the roles of victim and murderer begins.
