Lonely souls... Broken hearts... Those whose hope is dying... Those who are trying to hold on to life...
They come together on the evening of a house party. There are dozens of unopened boxes. Each one is like a secret we're afraid to open. Closed boxes that cover our room, our home and our insides. These are the boxes we carry with us wherever we go, the boxes we have to carry. Do we have the courage to open the boxes while getting to know a person?
Relationships are the focal point of the game of boxes. And of course people are the subject of relationships. Boxes takes the audience on a journey towards the unknown, towards revealing our secrets that we are afraid to tell everyone. Maybe we are as far away from the love of our life as the moment we look up from our phone. Maybe there is no gulf between us and the people we say, "We can never be side by side, we are people from different worlds," and only a small coincidence is enough to understand this.
