Woman: I don't like this at all. We are preparing for a new life. How can we do that if we forget the past. Come on, now. Pull yourself together."

Tiyatro.iN's new play "Müfettişler" is one of the four incompatible plays written by Melih Cevdet Anday, one of the creators of the weird movement, in 1972. The play has a great importance and priority in the Melih Cevdet Anday oeuvre in terms of writing and narrating a new theater text. Although it may seem "incompatible", it is actually based on a clear idea. It draws attention to the feeling of polarization, stuckness and insolvency created by modern working life and oppressive systems. However, it heralds that a more livable, equal world is possible and that people are about to take action for a world where they can live freely. This action does not have to represent a result, a victory or any emotion. The action itself will one day give birth to what is imagined.

The play is staged by Engin Hepileri, the founder of Tiyatro.iN, and the lights and décor of the play belong to Cem Yılmazer, who has designed all the light and décor designs of the theater so far. The music is by Kenan Doğulu, one of the most important musicians of our country. While Çevren Günger's drawings bring the costumes to life, the movement design that adds color to the play belongs to Büşra Firidin. The visual design and poster of the play are by Bülent Şengül.

Inspectors, which brings together experienced actors such as Aslıhan Gürbüz, Erkan Kolçak Köstendil, Kadir Çermik and Burak Altay, will meet its audience for the first time at the opening of the 28th İKSV Theater Festival, which was created by Mehmet Birkiye. Immediately after the festival, the play will continue to open its curtains in various cities, especially Istanbul.

Inspectors will also be performed with a lighting system that will be used for the first time in the theater thanks to the product support of Signify.
