    Babası İskenderiye’deyken kurnaz ve muhafazakar Müftü Efendi’nin baskısıyla hiç tanımadığı bir kızla evlendirilmek istenen Paşazade Perviz, gönlünü aynı mahallede yaşayan Füsun’a kaptırmıştır. Ancak bu istemediği izdivaçtan kurtulmak hiç de kolay olmayacaktır.

    Zeki kalfa Lalezar’ın önderliğinde başlanan masum bir kılık değiştirme oyunu; Batı sevdalısı dostlar, gizli tiyatro sevdaları ve üst üste gelen yanlış anlamalarla tam bir kördüğüme dönüşür. Fraklar cübbelerle yarışırken, konağın içinde kimin kim olduğu, kimin kiminle evlendiği birbirine karışır!

    Aşkı uğruna her türlü kılığa girmeye hazır bir aşık, gelenekleri korumaya çalışırken çıldıran bir Müftü ve her an patlamaya hazır dedikodular...
