Henry Fonda
Henry Fonda (16 Mayıs 1905, Omaha, Nebraska - 12 Ağustos 1982, Los Angeles) ABD'li sinema ve tiyatro oyuncusu.
Jane Fonda ile Peter Fonda'nın babası ve Bridget Fonda'nın dedesi olan ve meslek yaşamına tiyatro oyuncusu olarak başlayan Henry Fonda, sinemaya geçip;
Kuramsal içerikli filmler; The Grapes of Wrath (Gazap Üzümleri), 1940 vb.
Tarihsel filmler; Young Mr. Lincoln (Lincoln'ün Gençliği), 1939 vb. dd Hafif komediler; The Lady Eve (Bayan Eve), 1939 vb.
Savaş filmleri; Mr. Roberts (Bay Roberts), 1955
Siyasal filmler; The Best Man (En İyi Adam), 1964 vb. gibi hemen her tür filmde oynadı.
Meslek yaşamı boyunca 21 tiyatro oyunu ve 57 filmde rol alıp, 1978'de, sinemaya katkılarından ötürü Amerika Film Enstitüsü ödülü verildi. 1981'de On Golden Pond (Altın Gol) adlı filmiyle Oscar Ödülü'nü aldı. Henry Fonda Los Angeles'da 12 Ağustos 1982'de prostat kanseri sebebiyle yaşamını yitirdi. Cenazesi yakılmıştır.
