Join us for a production of Tennessee Williams’ stellar play Small Craft Warnings. The play is set in a small dive bar on the beach in Southern California in the early 1970s during a heavy fog and centers on nine complicated and captivating characters, including a beautician living in a trailer park, a gay teenage runaway biking from Iowa to Mexico, a seductress, an alcoholic doctor, and, of course, the convivial bartender. Through monologue and dialogue, this avant-garde play explores many pertinent and topical issues, including racism, homophobia, despondency, alcoholism, reproductive rights, sexuality, and poverty.
