Who is Mehmet Atay?
Biographyİlk, orta ve lise öğrenimini Ankara'da tamamladı. 1975 yılında Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı Tiyatro bölümünü kazandı. 1980 yılında mezun oldu. Aynı yıl Ankara Devlet Tiyatrosuna girdi. İki Pazartesi'nin Hikayesi, Aşk-ı Memnu ve Troyalı Kadınlar yönetmenlik denemeleridir. Beyaz Geceler'deki oyunuyla Sanat Kurumu ve Kültür Bakanlığı en iyi oyuncu ödülü, İzler'deki oyunu ile Tiyatro Eleştirmenleri Birliği özel ödülü, Aşkı Memnu yönetmenlik çalışmasıyla ve Halktan Biri'ndeki kompozisyonuyla en iyi oyuncu ödüllerini aldı. Birçok belgeselin ve film oyuncularının (Robert de Niro, Sean Connery) seslendirmesini yapmıştır. 2002 yılından itibaren 9 yıl yayında kalan Bizim Evin Halleri dizisinde Peyami karakterini canlandırmıştır. Sesli kitap yayıncılığını Türkiye' de ilk defa sürekli bir medya uygulaması olarak internet üzerinde başlatmıştır.
